After an act of hating each other back in the last episode, Blair and Serena finally make up again. This is seen from the arrival of Serena to Blair's house in the morning, along with Eleanor Waldorf newly returned from Paris. The arrival of Serena and her mother is a small surprise for Blair.
Meanwhile, Chuck who had a small party in his suit, got another surprise with the arrival of a Carter Baizen, someone who Chuck and Nate know, who just got out of jail. Chuck blatantly shows his dislike of Carter, but Nate is friendly to Carter.
This episode seems to have a lot of surprises for Blair. Eleanor who will expand its fashion business, will work with Bendel, a very famous international fashion brand. For that, Eleanor prepared everything very well. This time, Eleanor must choose a model that can represent the clothes of her work, and then Blair it is she choose. Blair who hesitate, get support from Serena to be a model. Then the photo shoot took place. However, the initial step of Blair in stepping on this modeling world must be paid by Serena, she was forced to cancel her date with Dan due to accompany Blair photo shoot session. Blair finds it very helpful with the presence of Serena, as she becomes more expressive and not rigid when shooting takes place.
Meanwhile, in his painting gallery, Rufus receives a female guest. Bex Simon, an agent who seeks prospective buyers for the paintings on display at the Rufus gallery. Bex interested in one of the paintings, and after getting approval from the buyer who is her client, Bex directly buy the painting from Rufus. Rufus is very happy, because the painting sold is a painting by Alison, his wife who was living in Hudson.
However, shortly after the arrival of Bex, Lily van der Woodsen came to the Rufus gallery and returned the paintings previously bought by Bex. Because apparently, Lily is a Bex's client. And Lily would object if Alison's painting had to be displayed in her place.
Serena then intends to replace her canceled date with Dan before. Serena invites Dan to come to Blair photo shoot the next day, so they can be together while accompanying Blair who was doing the photo shoot.
But apparently, the night before the second photo shoot took place, Eleanor and photographer and her assistant suddenly negotiated about Blair. That Blair is stiff and fails to achieve symbiosis with Eleanor's designed clothing. And they are then more attracted to Serena that looks more expressive and far more potential to carry the name of Eleanor in order to successfully cooperate with Bendel.
The next morning, Eleanor gave bad news to Blair, that her modeling career could not continue. Blair seemed accustomed to receiving the news, but apparently she was curious to die with who the successor model that her mother chose later.
Serena who had come first to the shooting to accompany Blair, did not yet know that she was later elected by Eleanor to replace Blair. And when Blair comes to the shooting location and sees Serena in style in front of the camera, a misunderstanding ensues. Blair and Serena again disagree. Dan overhearing a quarrel between Blair and Serena, which apparently managed to make the two friends feel broken hearted. Then Dan, boldly approaching Blair that denotes her refusal to speak with Dan which he deems to be of a low social class. However, the words of Dan to Blair of the moment made Blair aware that what was happening was a misunderstanding and not Serena's mistakes. Blessing Dan, Serena and Blair recovered and then spent the day in the fun of being together, but by first giving a small retaliation to Eleanor who almost ruined their friendship for a business advantage.
Another surprise on this episode was also received by Nate, who received Carter's call to gamble. Nate must face massive defeat of the gambling. But what surprised him was that his defeat was a game set by the Carter. But Chuck who also just found out a dirty game that was done by Carter against Nate, came to save his best friend. Chuck's heroic action managed to free Nate from Carter.
