The entire Upper East Side was involved in the festive days of the Christmas celebrations. As well as Dan and Serena who are spending time together visiting a bazaar. At that time, Dan get a surprise from Vanessa that seems very memorable to Dan. Vanessa gave Christmas gifts to Dan in the form of published writings and in The Newyorker magazine. It was called the best and ever-present Christmas present, which apparently later made Serena feel a little jealous of Vanessa who managed to make Dan be happy by accepting her prize.
Meanwhile, Rufus and Alison Humphrey who came to the bazaar also get a little surprise with their brief encounter with Lily and Bart Bass. And Blair, who also involve themselves in the bazaar get another little surprise with the news that Chuck is in Monaco, which could be the reason why Chuck does not respond to calls and short messages that Blair sends through her cell phone.
But Blair's shock does not end there. Hurriedly, Blair returns home for receiving news that her father is returning home to New York. But, upon arrival at home, how surprised Blair to know that her father was carrying Ramon to join the New York. A little flashback, Ramon is a model of Eleanor companion, who is now the lover of Blair's father, which later became the cause of the marriage crack between Blair's mother and father.
To spend the day, The Waldorf family and Roman take a walk in the park to the ski area. And there seems to be Roman find a man interested in Eleanor. While Blair, with her mood not so good with Chuck's departure, and her worries about her secret with Chuck will be leaked by Chuck, coupled with the arrival of Ramon to New York with his father, making Blair vent his frustration by deliberately making Ramon fall in the ski area until injured at his feet.
Switched to a Christmas night at Humphrey's residence, when Dan, jenny, rufus, and Alison were gathering together, accidentally Dan reading a few Christmas greeting postcards, one of which was apparently sent by Alex-an Alison affair during in Hudson. The atmosphere becomes tense when it is known that Alex's postcards are an invitation addressed to Alison to meet somewhere. But Alison had convinced Rufus that it would not happen, until Rufus was trying to restore the atmosphere to be warm again in the middle Dan and Jenny.
Back to the relationship of Serena and Dan. Serena who was so eager to make Dan more impressed with the gift she gave than the gift given by Vanessa, tried to surprise Dan by providing a very expensive watch. But, Dan, of course, can not accept it, because he thinks the gift is so excessive for him. Serena is certainly disappointed, but she is smart to hide her feelings and keep her emotions by not harming happiness between them. Until Dan and Serena then make an agreement about the Christmas presents to be given by Dan and Serena to each other.
Follow up on Alex's invitation, Rufus boldly then go to Alex to the place that mentioned earlier to meet with Alison. Rufus intends to drive Alex away from Alison's life, but Alex reveals an honesty that apparently Alison is still associated with Alex after her return to New York from Hudson. It is then that makes Rufus and Alison understand that it seems they have changed, however they try, it seems their marriage can not be saved. Dan and Jenny later realized this.
Frutation with his married life, Rufus then tries to contact Lily on the grounds just to say Merry Christmas, but Lily lies instead to Rufus by saying that she will go on holiday with Bart. And Lily immediately regretted her treatment to Rufus after she ended their conversation by phone.
Christmas Eve has arrived, Eleanor has a party at her residence. Blair is still nervous about the little secret that she has with chuck, so she keeps trying to contact chuck by begging not to divulge the secret to Nate. However, Chuck instead responded with a sarcastic tone and then sent a photo via his cell phone to Blair, a photo that Nate also was in Monaco with him.
Aware that her attempt to persuade Chuck might fail, Blair tried another way to attack Ramon. With a little information that she got from Eleanor about someone who is very capable of damaging the relationship between Ramon and her father, Blair then ventured to invite that person to a party at her home in the name of Ramon. But the way it apparently did not work, Eleanor immediately know the act of Blair and immediately expel the person from the party. Blair's father seems a little disappointed with Blair's treatment against Ramon.
But Ramon apparently wanted to give Eleanor a small surprise by inviting the man he met in a ski park interested in Eleanor, who apparently was a wealthy businessman named Jack Roth.
Christmas gets closer, while Serena still has not gotten a special gift for Dan with their mutual agreement. Finally Serena surrender, and ask for help to Vanessa to prepare a surprise for Dan. Vanessa, apparently succeeded in helping Serena with the prize she had prepared to give to Dan as a Christmas present. Blair who is aware of Vanessa's overdelivery to Dan, then slightly intimidates Vanessa in order to warn Vanessa that Dan belong to Serena.
The surprises prepared by Serena seem to be very successful at making Dan feeling flattered. With the help of Vanessa, apparently Serena making artificial snow for Dan in a closed room. It is a very romantic thing for Dan. Dan even responded to the surprise by presenting his original writings to Serena. Printed on The Newyorkers, containing the story of his first encounter with Serena several years ago. It also makes Serena feel touched. Serena and Dan managed to give the best first christmas gift to each other this year.
While Dan, apparently has another simple but slightly inconvenient idea of trying to award a christmas tree to Serena, with the condition of The Palace not allowing any of its guests to have a christmas tree in their suite. But Dan's plan success with the help of Jenny and Lily.
The love of Christmas is then felt by Blair after her heart-to-heart talk with her father. Blair's father assured her that with whoever her father was with at the moment, Blair remained a special person in her father's heart. Blair's dad gave a Christmas gift to Blair some pictures of the new house he bought with Ramon, and in the house had prepared a room for Blair that was specially prepared very well by Ramon. It managed to make Blair feel touched and begin to receive togetherness between her father and Ramon.
This episode ends with a bit of heresy apparently Jack Roth managed to take Eleanor Waldorf's heart for christmas eve this year.
While Rufus, still struggling with his old feelings for Lily. Rufus awaits Lily in front of The Palace, amid the falling snow, and can only convey his longing for Lily by phone. While Lily, facing Bart who is trying to propose her in front of Eric and Serena.
