The students at school apparently showed a bit of their juvenile delinquency by holding an illegal party in the school pool at midnight. Nate, Chuck, and Blair are certainly at the party. Serena was apparently there, and invited Dan to participate. Dan which was being visited by Vanessa who was trying to make a documentary that she would use to look for an allowance, then decided to attend the party, unbeknownst to Rufus.
Nate who began to approach Blair in the pond, apparently found Blair that began to stay away from him since he returned from his vacation with Chuck to Monaco. It seems that Blair is motivated by the conditions posed by Chuck, who asks that Blair to stay away from Nate until Chuck feels he no longer feels jealous when he sees the togetherness between Blair and Nate, if Blair does not want Chuck to unravel the little secret they have together.
The arrival of Dan and Vanessa at the party were greeted with a party festivity. Young people, alcohol, and drugs. It seems that Vanessa gets a new topic for her little documentary, as she seems to be in the spirit of recording the closed-party atmosphere with her handycam. Just momentarily and greeted by Serena, there was an accident involving a learner in the party. Because the condition is serious, Serena had to call 911 to get medical help.
The 911 call then brought disaster to Dan, Serena, Blair, Chuck, Nate, and some other students involved in the party, and did not get to escape when the police and ambulance came to the scene. Dan, Serena, Blair Chuck, Nate, and some of the students are threatened to be expelled from school if from the interview with the principal, it is found who is the mastermind of the holding of the illegal party. The choice is that they have to tell the truth, if they are responsible, or they know who is responsible. But if no one confesses, then they will all be expelled from the school. Ultimatum from the principal is a severe consequence they must accept, but they agree to protect each other by not telling the principal about who initiated the illegal party.
But Dan, apparently disagreeing, because if he had to be expelled from school, his future would be ruined as his family's economy would not be able to help him enroll in other schools.
On the other hand, Lily receives a Christmas message that Rufus sends over his cell phone, then goes to Rufus and informs him that she may receive a proposal from Bart. Lily and Rufus both know that they are trapped in nostalgia, but Lily does not want to continue because she thinks Rufus, just like before, is still a person who has no future plans.
But Rufus did not give up, he tried to convince Lily to have her own life and not depend on others, with the intent that Lily not accept the proposal of Bart and choose to return with Rufus.
In the meantime, Vanessa tries to give hints to Dan about who the person should be responsible regarding the illegal party by showing the recording on her handycam to Dan. In the recording Chuck appears to be holding the key, which may be evidence.
Dan then went to Blair's residence, with Vanessa, who would still carry her handycam. Dan then sees Chuck being relaxed in Blair house holding the key recorded by Vanessa. Dan tells Chuck to confess to the school that it is Chuck who should be responsible with the ownership of the key. But instead Chuck in reply with degrading words of Dan, and says that Chuck actually secures the key from the scene to save the people involved in the party, including Dan.
Then Blair who sees Chuck holding the key immediately grabs it from Chuck and tries to hide it in her room, because Blair is worried that the evidence will be found by others who will then trouble their position in school. But Nate apparently knows Blair hides the key in her room when Nate tries to get close to Blair by giving her a love letter. Blair, of course direct away from Nate.
Lured by Chuck's words, Dan then at odds with Serena of any sanctions he might receive from school. Dan ask Serena to be honest to the school if she knows who should be responsible for the party, to be in a position and stay safe at school. But Serena did not want to do it, because apparently Serena who has access keys to the pool.
Blair and Bhuck who were also involved in a dispute over the little secret they hid from Nate, apparently noticing that their quarrel was deliberately recorded by Vanessa. Chuck and Blair immediately tried to request the tape from Vanessa, but Vanessa refused it and went directly with Dan from Blair's residence.
Vanessa's persistence lasted only for a moment until Chuck gave her an enormous amount of money, which Vanessa could use to meet her needs without the necessity of pursuing the allowance of her documentary. Vanessa finally handed the tape to Chuck, and received the money that Chuck offer to her.
But apparently it's just a little cheating she did to Chuck. The tapes she gave to Chuck apparently were just empty tapes, and Vanessa handed her money to the social pantis. Then Vanessa came to Blair and with the sympathy that she hid, she gave the original tape containing the recording of the conversation between Blair and Chuck to Blair. And Blair, very grateful to Vanessa for that. Therefore, Blair secretly donates his money for Vanessa's purposes so he does not have to feel indebted to Vanessa.
Back to Lily. She who seems to be still wondering whether to accept or not a Bart proposal, tried to contact Rufus to declare that she would consider trying again to start her relationship with Rufus. Until finally they make a small escape plan that could be the beginning of the return of their relationship.
Lily is actually very enthusiastic to be back together with Rufus, but Serena messes it up when she openly asks Lily not to restart her relationship with Rufus, because Serena feels Dan is important to her, and she prefers to be Chuck's stepsister compared to if must be Dan's stepsister.
It makes Lily disappointed, but adult managed to restrain her emotions to emphasize Serena's feelings. Finally she came to Rufus to cancel the plan they had discussed earlier, in the hope that Rufus could understand it.
The love that Nate has for Blair makes Nate dare to lie to the school side by saying that he is responsible for the illegal party going on in the school pool. But apparently Nate attempt to protect Blair failed because the principal knew it was just a lie that Nate made to protect someone. That's why Nate is suspended, and Blair becomes increasingly touched by the sacrifice of Nate. But Blair unanimously acknowledges that the key is not hers.
Then it was time for Dan interviewed by the principal. And Serena who was so eager and distant from the problem, bravely confessed to the headmaster while Dan was in the process of interviewing.
Then how shocked Dan and Serena when knowing that Serena is not expelled from school because of the incident, but it is only required to obedient in accompanied by her parents.
It may well be a good thing that Serena received as a punishment, but then it turned into an unpleasant thing for Serena when she knew that her punishment was light on the intervention of Bart who had contacted the school to protect Serena. Bart says it exactly at the time Serena and Chuck families gather together in order to celebrate Bart proposal received by Lily.
