This story is about the life of Nathan Harper, a teenage boy who lives with his parents. It is told that Kevin and Mara, the father and mother of Nathan, are the parents who love Nathan very much. Nathan is trained by his father to have a strong physical fight. But in his heart, Nathan felt that he was an abnormal person because he often had a dream about a woman who was attacked and killed by a man. Because that's why then Nathan conduct his counseling session regularly with Dr. Bennet, a psychologist.
One day, Nathan got the assignment from his school to work on a sociology paper with Karen, a classmate. They decided to make a paper about missing children, so they began searching for information on the internet to support the task they were working on. While searching for information about a missing child's photo, there is a photo of a boy who makes Nathan feel interested to see more clearly. Nathan tries to reproduce the missing child's photo, and how Nathan surprised when he finds out that the photographs are ponds of a face very similar to him. Nathan began to find out more, and immediately showed the photo to Karen. At first Karen thought that it was a coincidence that Nathan had apparently got a shirt belonging to him of a small size identical to the shirt used by the boy in the photograph, complete with a stain on the same part of the shirt as that of Nathan.
Nathan and Karen then decided to contact the contact listed in the information section of the missing child's photo via an internet conversation. They are then connected to a man who claims to be Marisa. The man then tracks the location of Nathan and informs them directly to Kozlow. While Nathan then becomes suspicious of Mara and Kevin if there is something they have hidden all this time from him. Assisted by Gilly, his schoolmate, Nathan then believes that there is indeed an irregularities in his childhood life.
Then he asked for an explanation from Mara. At that time Mara looked very surprised and not ready to tell the truth to Nathan, she just told Nathan that Kevin is also involved on this matter. Mara admits that she and Kevin are not Nathan's natural parents, but they already love Nathan and think of him as their natural child. Received the information, Nathan was devastated by the secret that had been hidden from him. Then after Mara leave Nathan in his room alone, Nathan contacted Karen and said that Mara already told the truth, although not all things he knew. Karen who was touched, immediately took the initiative to approach Nathan at his home.
While Mara, then received the arrival of two men in his residence looking for Nathan. Because she feel that something is wrong, Mara immediately avoid the two strangers, but they then attack Mara physically. Enexpectedly, Mara able to defend herselves and strike back both strangers physically. Nathan then accidentally witnessed the condition of Mara involved in a fight with the two strangers in his home. Did not have time to help, Mara then shot dead in front of Nathan by the two strangers who came to his house. Coinciding with his gunshot, Kevin came and attacked the two strangers physically while ordering Nathan to go away from their home.
Out of panic, Nathan ran away from Kevin who was trying to save himself from the attacks of the two foreigners. But suddenly Nathan remembered Karen who was heading home. When Nathan returns to his home, Karen has been attacked by a man who kills Mara and Kevin. Nathan also tried hard to save Karen, until they managed to escape and leave the house destroyed by the explosion caused by bombs coming from strangers who attack them.
Wounded, Nathan took Karen to the hospital, and called 911 to get help from the police. Nathan then connected with Frank Burton, a CIA agent who made Nathan feel unable to believe in him. Frank asks Nathan to fulfill every word he says to Nathan, and asks Nathan to come to him in order to be safe from the dangers. But Nathan does not want to believe in Frank.
Nathan then get help from Dr. Bennet who asks for Nathan and Karen to disguise and follow her in order to survive from Kozlow. Nathan and Karen also have no choice but to follow the words of Dr. Bennet. They get into the car of Dr. Bennet and speeding toward somewhere. On the way, Dr. Bennet then tells a glimpse of the life of Nathan and the real Nathan's parents. From the story delivered by Dr. Bennet, it is known that Nathan is actually the son of an agent who has stolen confidential information from Kozlow on state security. That's why Kozlow then targeted the Nathan family. Mother of Nathan, the woman who had been in the dream of Nathan, has been killed. Fearing for the safety of Nathan, his father then entrusts Nathan to Mara and Kevin to live safely. Dr. Bennett admits that she is also the master of Nathan's father to maintain the safety of Nathan. Then Dr. Bennet asks Nathan to come to the address she mentioned, and tries to keep himself from Kozlow's pursuit, and does not obey what the Frank Burton ordered, because Frank is also someone who has an interest in the secret information stolen by Nathan's father.
Nathan and Karen then obeyed Dr. Bennet. They struggle together to be able to reach the place ordered by Dr. Bennet. The intended address is apparently an apartment belonging to Nathan's father. There they get a phone that contains a secret code, which seems to be the information targeted by Kozlow and Frank.
Because they can not run away from Kozlow target that endanger their lives, Nathan and Karen finally follow Frank to be safe with the police. But apparently it does not guarantee, because Kozlow's men continue to target Nathan and Karen.
Nathan and Karen strategize themselves to be able to trap Kozlow. Unexpectedly, Nathan then gets a phone that turns out to be from his real father. No time to be sentimental, Nathan then given orders by his father to trap Kozlow in order to be stopped by Nathan's father.
Nathan, aided by Karen and Gilly, then traps Kozlow who keeps following Nathan to get the secret information that has been stolen from him before. Unbeknownst to Nathan, apparently Nathan's father was close to himself and Kozlow, who then fired a deadly shot for Kozlow.
Coinciding with Kozlow's death, the police then arrested Frank who was known to have done something illegal. With this, Nathan's life back safe, but Nathan did not succeed in asking his father to show himself and meet him.
But then Dr. Bennet came, asked him to stay with her till Nathan mature and can live life and take care of himself.
