This summer is spent by most people for a vacation. Serena whose love story with Dan has ended, decided to start opening her heart again for a pretty interesting coast guard. On her first date with the Coast Guard man, Serena accidentally encounters Nate rushing to escape from Catherine house, a married woman. Yes, Nate has a dark relationship with Catherine as long as her husband is not at home.
While Blair who spends her vacation elsewhere, comes to a vacation spot to attend a White Party. The arrival of Blair was picked up by Chuck, who at that moment was quite surprised to find Blair's togetherness with another man.
Switching to Dan apparently after his breakup with Serena, still decides to continue writing while approaching several women at once. But apparently, his separation with Serena is enough to make Dan lose his focus in writing which then makes himself fired from his job as a young writer. Dan quite disappointed, but after knowing the cause is not concentration is Serena, Dan then get advice from Rufus who still continue his musical tour to face and solve the problem with Serena.
While Jenny, still busy with her apprenticeship in Eleanor Waldorf Design, tried to contact Eric to make up and ask for help to eric who has enough connections to be able to bring Jenny to the White Party.
Then began The White Party event, an annual event held with set of socialites and other famous people. Eric, agrees to bring Jenny with him to the event, and introduce her with someone who has a very good reputation in the fashion world in front of Laurel, Jenny's boss in an internship program at Eleanor Waldorf Design. Jenny who got a good reception, also showed her potential in front of Laurel by wearing her own design dress that proved to be liked by her new acquaintance. This makes Jenny get a serious offer to work in Eleanor Waldorf Design.
While Chuck begins to show his jealousy to Blair, try to investigate who the man really is. James who became Blair's dating friend since the summer vacation started, began to realize that Blair apparently only utilizes his proximity to himself to make jealous Chucks. Therefore, James decided to avoid Blair.
While Nate who began to open to Serena on his relationship with Catherine, get intimidation from Catherine in the party. Catherine thinks Nate accidentally came to the party to destroy her marriage relationship, because Catherine at that time came with her husband. Serena who knew it decided to teach Catherine, so Serena and Nate deliberately cuddled in front of Catherine at the time to provoke Catherine anger, and it worked.
But apparently, Dan who at that moment came looking for Serena, well received by Cece, for Cece felt indebted for her mistake to Dan on the night of last debutante. Cece invites Dan to enter The White Party in order to meet with Serena, Cece lend deceased suits suit and wear on it. Dan's confidence then increasing because in addition to getting a good reception from Cece, Dan was told by Cece that Dan still remain in the heart of Serena.
But his confidence must collapse when he finds Serena and Nate who are making out in public. Serena then immediately pursue Dan to give an explanation of her togetherness with Nate. But in the middle of her efforts, Serena was shocked to see Dan be embarrassed by the two female guests who were dating Dan who felt let down by Dan.
Serena then just able to talk quietly after Dan told Serena that he can not forget Serena .. and ece apparently looks quite happy to see Dan and Serena again have a good relationship.
Back to Nate who apparently managed to fish Catherine, found that Catherine could not escape from Nate and decided to continue her relationship with Nate behind her husband.
Then, along with the information Chuck gets about the identity of James Chuller, Blair dating friend begins to approach Blair back to say an honesty. Blair who previously thought that James was a boring man suddenly had to bear the shock given by James that revealed his true identity as a Lord, and his real name is Marcus Beaton. Blair, certainly very impressed with the honesty and the true status of Marcus.
Seeing that, Chuck becomes increasingly aware that leaving the previous Blair is the biggest mistake he has ever done. Chuck then expresses his regret for Blair and asks her to stay with him and not go with Marcus. Blair does not want her to be let down again by Chuck, so Blair challenges Chuck to say the three words and eight letters she needs from Chuck. A statement of love. If Chuck can say it, Blair will stay and do not continue her relationship with Marcus.
But apparently Chuck could not do it. It is enough to give an answer to Blair who then decided to leave Chuck and go with Marcus.
