After Jenny leave his house, Rufus tries to stay calm by contacting mother of Agnes to ensure good condition with his daughter Jenny.
Thanks to his writing he made about Chuck life, Dan managed to get a letter of recommendation from Saphiro, a writer, to go to Yale. Impressed by the story, Saphiro later introduced Dan with an editor from New York Magazine. The introduction brings new opportunities for Dan if he want to continue writing career, Dan asked to continue writing about Bass success stories, including if there is intrigue or other competition behind it.

Blair who is calm about her status at Yale, is planning her upcoming birthday party with her socialite gang. On her birthday this time, Blair is more excited to get news from Eleanor that she will bring her new very beautiful lover called Cyrus. But apparently after Blair see Cyrus physically, Blair did not like it and tends to be embarrassed. Blair wonder to Eleanor who want to connect with men like Cyrus which is totally beyond Blair's expectation. Because of Cyrus's embarrassing appearance, Blair then tells Serena, but Serena keeps asking her to be nice to Cyrus.

Blair then began to be nice to Cyrus. She invites Cyrus to eat alone with her. From their conversation during the meal together, Blair later learned that in his previous marriage, Cyrus also cheated on his wife in pursuit of a foreign woman she knew on an official trip. This information is then used by Blair to destroy the relationship between Eleanor and Cyrus. Eleanor who was suspicious of the cunning Blair and wanted to interfere in her relationship with Cyrus had been alerted to Blair, but her vigilance collapsed when Blair said that Cyrus was not an honest man as Eleanor believed so far.
Eleanor was quite hit, she then decided to ask Cyrus to go from her life. Blair is glad that her efforts are successful. But the pleasure is instantly transformed into a sense of guilt when knowing Cyrus prepare a very special surprise for Blair. Blair then immediately chase after Cyrus to apologize. Cyrus attitude that still shows affection and kindness makes Blair increasingly feel that her actions to Cyrus is outrageous. Then Blair also invites Cyrus back to her home and try to explain the actual events on the previous Cyrus marriage, which then made Eleanor become re-connected well with Cyrus.
Cyrus's heirloom in the Blair family began to be introduced to relatives and friends, including to the shocked Serena when she learned that Cyrus was the father of Aaron.

While Serena is willing to try to reconnect with Aaron even though Serena knows that Aaron is always surrounded by women. Serena gets a surprise from Aaron by asking Serena to be his model. Other surprises also Serena get from Aaron by displaying a collage of Serena photographs presented in a romantic atmosphere. But the feeling of Serena immediately destroyed when it turns out Aaron was still attended by other women who became the model.
With Serena experience that was repeatedly disillusioned by Aaron because so many women around, apparently did not make Serena's feelings for Aaron disappear. The arrival of Aaron later on expressing his feelings to Serena was well received by Serena.

While Jenny and Agnes are having an interview session with potential donors for the fashion business they will run. But Jenny does not like the attitude of Agnes who always want to stand out than herself, but she who has the ability in the field of design. It makes Jenny and Agnes disagree. Jenny considers Agnes attitude is not professional and make them repeatedly fail to get a sponsor.
Finally after Jenny forced Agnes to be more serious in work, but it seems unsuccessful, Jenny was forced to steal the contact number of prospective sponsors of Agnes mobile phone. Then Jenny contact the prospective sponsor with the intention that she can walk alone without Agnes.
Jenny's first contact is with Scoth Smith, a potential donor who loves talent owned by Jenny and is willing to accept her own work, without Agnes. But due to the age of Jenny who is still under age, Scoth asks Jenny to show the consent letter from the parents who stated that Jenny allowed to work with him. Jenny then asks for Alison's help behind Rufus, but Alison refuses because she does not want to give permission without approval from Rufus.

Jenny struggle to get sponsors apparently did not run smoothly. Accidentally, Agnes, who did not know what Jenny had done before, received a confirmation call from the Scoth Smith's office stating that a contract agreement with Jenny had been prepared. Because that's what Agnes feels betrayed by Jenny, then Agnes decides to throw Jenny out of her apartment and burn all the clothes of the design of Jenny. Knowing this, Jenny felt sad and very desperate.
Jenny returns home to the Rufus residence, but Jenny again gets rejection from Rufus regarding her permission to work with Scoth. Jenny was getting worse. Finally Jenny again ask for another advice from Scoth because the permit is not obtained from her parents. Then Scoth also provide another suggestion to Jenny is quite extreme, that is for Jenny demands freedom from her parents through legal means so that Jenny can be a guardian over herself.
Dan suggests Rufus to succumb to Jenny to make sure Jenny is to stay at home so they are easier to keep an eye on.

Looking at the life of Chuck Bass, a lonely boy trying to get his father's attention by preparing two hockey tickets that are very popular with Bart. But unfortunately, Chuck's prize was denied by Bart on the grounds that he did not have time to watch the game. Chuck is certainly very disappointed with the rejection of Bart.

Received a magazine wrapup offer, Dan then started the interview process with Bart on the grounds that he was interested in the same construction field as Bart. With the attitude and the polite and the good word, Bart accepts Dan that he knows as a friend of Serena. Dan also asks Bart to allow him to follow the daily activities of Bart, and Bart is willing to accept Dan. Dan was later invited by Bart to watch the hockey game with him, but apparently Bart's call coincided with the arrival of Chuck who then had to feel the disappointment twice for knowing his father preferred together Dan than with his own son.
After that, Chuck then sees Dan sappers in the office of the New York Magazine, and begins to suspect Dan who approached Bart must have a certain reason.
On the other hand, Dan get the facts from someone who says that Bart's success is obtained in a sneaky way, that is by utilizing the insurance allowance money from an asset belonging to Bart that was deliberately set on fire by him. But this information is prohibited by Rufus to be published, with the excuse not to disrupt the life of the Bart family.
Because of the need to get confirmation of the burning of the building he received, Dan try to ask Bart about it. Bart who almost answered the question was instantly silenced by Chuck who said that the question and was not sincere and just because of the need for writing material for the magazine. Knowing this, Bart tries to bribe Dan not to write anything about the story, but Dan rejects it and immediately leaves Bart's residence. Before Dan gone, Chuck stops and begs Dan not to write anything about his family that will make his family face devastation.

Unexpectedly, Dan then giving his writings indirectly to Bart. About Chucks who feel lonely and unloved by Bart who hated him for making his wife died when giving birth to Chuck. Read the writing, Bart felt touched. Bart then went to Chuck in his room, apologize for Chuck's feelings must be taken alone from childhood because Bart is not a good father for Chuck. Bart then realized that he was the problem as a father and head of the family. Hence Bart asks Chuck another chance so he can know Chuck further. Received a very unusual treatment for him, Chuck was pleased and willing to accept Bart's request to get them closer to each other.
