Unlike Serena and Aaron relationship, the friendship between Nate and Dan has been shattered since Nate has a relationship with Jenny. Facing Serena closeness with Aaron, Dan apparently feeling jealous and deliberately making Aaron feel uncomfortable by showing that he has known Serena and his family much better than Aaron. This then creates a misunderstanding between Dan, Serena, and Aaron, because some of the things that happened in the previous life of Serena that Dan know have apparently been covered by Serena in the presence of Aaron.
While the unknown Jenny, all this time lived with Eric in Lily's residence quietly. But in the end Lily knows the whereabouts of Jenny in her house and intends to keep Jenny in her house until Rufus can be more calm and talk with Jenny well, because after her talk with Jenny, Lily is unexpectedly finds the file of the submission of freedom belongs to Jenny.
Lily then informs Rufus of the letter, which then makes Rufus quite surprised by Jenny's attitude.

Surprisingly, Nate then met by his mother with his father who had escaped from the police so as not to get caught because of the fraud that he did. Nate and his father and mother then made plans to leave the city and start a new life, as his father imagined for the three of them to come back together peacefully.
While other surprises are also accepted by Blair who does not like to accept Cyrus proposal to Eleanor. But then Blair begins to agree on the relationship of Cyrus and Eleanor when her father comes and declares his blessing to Eleanor to re-start her romance life with Cyrus.

Then one day, Vanessa by chance met with Nate who intends to return Rufus belongings. After a brief encounter with Nate, Vanessa was later approached by an FBI agent, about her relationship with Nate. Because do not know what to do, Vanessa contacted Chuck and asked for his help. Finally, Nate was summoned by Chuck and Vanessa to meet and talk to the FBI agent. Of the talks, Nate then knows clearly about the condition of his father and his family in the side of the law. Nate then realizes that if he follows his father's request to escape the law, then the chances of his whole family will be destroyed. That's why Nate then informed the FBI about his father's whereabouts. Because of this, Nate's relationship with Vanessa and Chuck came back good because they have strengthened Nate to make the best decision for his family.
Nate went back to his father and mother. Nate tried to give understanding to his father not to run away from the pursuit of law and dare to be legally responsible for all the mistakes he has done. hHis mother, of course, rejected the idea, and became even more hysterical when she learned that police came to their place to arrest her husband. Nate feels responsible and saddened by the decision he took, but unexpectedly, his father graciously surrendered himself to the police to save his wife and Nate from destruction.

In the meantime, the life of the Bart family also seems to be beginning to face destruction when Chuck shows Bart's secret files, which contains the life of Lily, Eric, and Serena to Eric. Because they feel angry and disappointed about the treatment of Bart, Eric then gave the information to Lily and Serena, who also joined angry with Bart.

This episode then closes with the togetherness between Lily and Rufus, Aaron and Serena, and the return of Jenny to the house after Rufus will take it back. Jenny and Vanessa have made up after the misunderstanding between their relationship with Nate.
But accidentally, Vanessa finds a letter that Nate sends to Jenny to say goodbye before, but never gets accepted by Jenny because Jenny goes from Rufus house after sabotage at a Lily's charity event. The letter is then hidden by Vanessa so that Jenny does not know it, lets herself and Nate re-establish a relationship.
