Arrive at the reading of a Bart's will to Chuck. Nate and Blair lend support to Chuck to face up to whatever reality he must undergo after the reading of the will.
When the reading of a will, Chuck is accompanied by Jack. How surprised they were when Bart bequeathed all the assets of Bass Industries to Chuck. Chuck felt Bart deliberately mocking Chuck who does not understand anything about the business by leaving all his efforts to him, so Chuck refuses to accept it. The rejection of Chuck is actually exploited by Jack who immediately ask themselves to take over Bass Industries. Because Chuck still can not think rationally, so he lightly gave up all assets of Bass Industries to Jack, which of course is happy to accept it.
Knowing that, Blair again trying to strengthen Chuck and generate confidence Chuck to be able to run Bass Indutries. Chuck finally feel re-excited and fight Jack to take over Bass Industries. Jack was disappointed because he did not manage to control Bass Industries, so he tried to find a way to drop Chuck by using Blair to look like she was involved in his evil plans.
Jack plan was successful, Chuck successfully trapped and caught drunk with some women in front of the board members. It managed to embarrass and drop the pride of Chuck as the leader of the company. Because of embarrassment and emotion, Chuck also vent his anger to Blair with words that hurt Blair.

While Lily and Rufus who went alone to Boston without giving any excuse made Jenny suspicious and wondering. Dan accidentally mentioned that he was hiding something from Serena, through his phone conversation with Rufus. Words of Dan then heard by someone who spread the news on the Gossip Girl by informing that Dan cheating from Serena. Dan then told the real thing about the secrets of Rufus and Lily to Vanessa for being steadily vanished by Vanessa. But unfortunately, the conversation of Dan and Vanessa are heard by Nelly Yuki, who then passes the information to Penelope and friends who then mistakenly thought that Rufus and Lily are parents of Dan and Serena.

Lily and Rufus apparently almost failed to meet their biological child until finally at the last moment they were about to return from Boston, they got a call from a man who adopted their biological child. Eventually they also met an adopted father who declared their son, Andrew, died a few years ago. Rufus and Lily are very sad to receive the news, they return to the city with a mourning mood. But apparently the news is a lie made by the adoptive parents of Rufus and Lily's son, with the aim that their child will not know the real birth parents.

Finally Serena, Eric, and Jenny also know the true story before Lily and Rufus back home. Serena did not know what to do in addressing the news, but Eric strengthen Serena not to stay away from Dan, because of what Serena felt also feel by Dan at this time as a child of parents who had a special relationship.
Serena and Eric then visit Dan and Jenny at their residence, the awkwardness that they initially show soon melts and turns into a harmonious relationship of brotherhood. When Lily and Rufus came home to Rufus's residence, surprised and happy to see their children get along like brothers.
Life of Dan also like the highlight of the world, because of rumors spread by Gossip Girl. Dan feel uncomfortable because like no longer have privacy in his life. This then makes Nate show sympathy to Dan because it has experienced the same thing. The sympathy of Nate is well received by Dan, which then makes Nate and Dan relationship back good.

Gradually, Chuck realizes that he has done something outrageous to Blair. Chuck comes to Blair to apologize, but Blair refuses Chuck and says that it's too late to apologize. Blair expressed her disappointment that Chuck had not avoided the belief that Blair had given.
