Serena hide the good news she received about her acceptance at Yale from Blair, as Blair apparently entered into a group of students who had to wait for acceptance at Yale. Accepting her status at Yale, Blair then finds out who the student has seized her position at yale until she gets into the waiting list, which apparently the position is filled by Serena.
Blair must then try to keep her score perfect to be able to enter the Yale, but apparently Miss Carr, the new teacher at Blair's school gives an imperfect score for Blair. Blair began to look for a cunning way to be able to give a deterrent effect on Miss Carr. Then Blair gets a call from the headmaster saying how much Miss Carr about Blair, and that's why Blair then feel sorry and apologize to Miss Carr. But apparently Miss Carr already feel disappointed with Blair attitude to her.
Apparently Miss Carr then complain of Blair treatment to the principal, which resulted in Blair suspended from school which then affects the suspension of acceptance of Blair at Yale. Blair also get annoyed and plan another retaliation to Miss Carr.
While Serena begins to consider refusing her acceptance at Yale, and is about to give her position to Blair.
Knowing Serena's plan to release Yale and choose Brown, Dan disillusioned with Serena because Dan had imagined they would live together as a couple at the same university.
While Lily intends to publicize her love affair by inviting Rufus to watch the opera with her. Although Chuck is still willing to accept the relationship between Lily and Rufus, but the cold war that takes place between Chuck and Jack makes Chuck ask Lily to help him in the face of Jack. Lily is happy to help Chuck she already sees as her own. As one of the shareholders in Bass Industries, Lily tried to talk to the board of directors to give trust back to Chuck to lead the company. Knowing this, Jack becomes furious at Lily.
In the opera house, before the show starts, Lily who came with Rufus accidentally met with Bruce, someone who worked for Lily and talked about the document. As suddenly reminded by something, Lily was immediately asked to speak with Chuck. Lily tells Chuck that before Bart is dead, Lily and Bart are in an arrangement to adopt each other's children, so whatever happens in the future, Lily children will be the responsibility of Bart, and vice versa. If Chuck agrees of his adoption by Lily, it means that the Lily will directly become the guardian of Chuck, and not Jack that acts as a guardian for Chuck. Of course Chuck agreed, which is an absolute defeat for Jack.
Knowing his position was destroyed by Lily, Jack was angry and intimidated Lily who was then alone, apart from Rufus and Chuck. Lily intends to fight, but Jack apparently actually directs his attacks on Lily and intends to sexually harass Lily. Lily rebelled, but the conditions are located in a closed room does not allow to be known to others.
Lucky at that moment Rufus was suspicious with Lily drowning long enough by his side, until he asked for help of Dan and Chuck to look for Lily. Chuck also feel there is something wrong with the absence of Lily, Chuck suspicious this is concerned with Jack. And sure enough, then Chuck managed to find Lily that is being attacked by Jack, and Chuck save Lily by attacking Jack and drive him out. This incident shows that Lily and Chuck relationship is getting better and Chuck start to regard Lily as family.
