Serena who is worried about Blair, accidentally met with Poppy who was visiting the city. Serena invites Poppy to come to the party that he will hold a few days ahead. It seems that the party that Serena intent is a surprise party for Jenny's birthday.
Jenny, Dan, and Rufus, who had been invited to breakfast at Lily's residence with the children, then revealed the party plans to be held for Jenny's birthday. All enthusiastic, but Jenny herself is not. Jenny feels no need to have a birthday party for her, since her party last year was a mess because of Blair and socialite gang. Jenny just wants her family to gather on her birthday. Rufus, Lily, and children apparently quite disappointed with the decision of Jenny, but because Jenny who choose, then they are forced to agree with the request of Jenny.

While already this week Vanessa did not get word from Nate, after she left Nate at the family party of Archibald. Vanessa's anxiety told to Dan, who told Vanessa to first contact Nate. But coincides with Dan advice, apparently Vanessa gets an email from Nate who asks Vanessa to visit his home. Vanessa felt happy and rushed to Nate's residence. But apparently Vanessa saw Blair coming out of Nate's residence, escorted by Nate and they engage conversations that look intimate.
Vanessa felt shocked, and Chuck was suddenly coming. Apparently the email sent via Nate account is sent by Chuck who knows Nate's email password. Chuck during this stalking the life of Blair and Nate that seems more familiar after the party took place. Because they feel jealous, Chuck also invites Vanessa to find the relationship between Nate and Blair.

But because of the input from Poppy to have a classy birthday party for Jenny, Serena intends to run her original plan by holding a surprise party for Jenny at her residence. Serena and Poppy picked a dress for Jenny wear on her birthday.
And the day came to know Jenny, where Jenny and Dan have no idea about the surprise party that was so unnatural. Jenny and Dan did not have any preparation for the party, and after arriving at the residence of Serena, Jenny seemed unhappy with the classy party that Serena held for her, because the party only contains friends of Serena from high social class.
Blair who came with Nate then met Chuck who came with Vanessa. Chuck and Vanessa deliberately heated up Blair and Nate by making out in front of them. While Blair who invites Nate to the room for romance, gets a nasty refusal from Nate saying that they do not need to rush in starting a relationship again. Nate asks for time to finish his relationship with Vanessa first can start a relationship with Blair. Get the rejection, Blair would feel disappointed.
The intimacy between Nate and Blair may not go smoothly tonight, but not for Chucks and Vanessa who continue their togetherness to become more intimate.
Feel her birthday was hijacked by Serena, Jenny then replied Serena by informing Gossip Girl that there was an open party at Serena residence. Because that's why then many teenagers who infiltrated come to the party, which makes troublemakers and disrupt the party that Serena held. The situation becomes chaotic and uncontrollable. Poppy said goodbye to Serena who looked confused in accommodating the people who suddenly entered and messed up her home.
Finally Rufus and Lily returned and found the house in a dirty and very messy. Lily was rebuked and blamed Serena, but it is a mistake that gives Jenny an open invitation in Gossip Girl.
Feel hurt, Serena went and approached Poppy in one of the bars. To dispel the sadness of Serena, Poppy then invite Serena for a vacation with her and lover, Gabriel, to Spain. Serena also agreed and just said goodbye to Lily through a short message.
While her house was being cleaned and reorganized, Lily fled to Rufus house. They then talked about Dan's tuition at Yale large enough to be borne by Rufus. The financial assistance that Lily offers must have been rejected by Rufus, but Lily's invitation to Rufus to live with seems to be a considerable consideration for Rufus, since Rufus can sell his house to pay for Dan tuition.
But the incident in an overnight party that resulted in a dispute between Jenny and Serena, awakened Lily and Rufus that it seemed too soon for them to decide to stay together and involve the children in their relationship.

The story is then closed with a Dan phone call to contact Scott, a fan of the story Dan write. Apparently Scott is the son of Rufus and Lily who was adopted by another family. Phone and not immediately accepted by Scott, but accepted by his adoptive father who later with his adoptive mother decides to keep the phone away from Dan Humphrey devoted to their adopted son.
