But Lillian receives Hannah's arrival warmly at her home.
Immediately after delivering his condolences to Lillian, Sam immediately excused himself to return to the city the next day, on the grounds that Hannah will hold an interview to enter the university. Feel herself made an excuse by Sam, Hannah then asks Sam about it. Sam who was spending his time in Jerry's office then told Hannah that he did not feel at all about losing Jerry's death. Because Sam has no memories of his childhood with Jerry. Which he remembered was Jerry occasionally took him to the park, but when he got back to the park, Jerry only lowered Sam to play alone while Jerry waited in the car, playing with his hand camera.

Felt the testament did not have a high material value, Sam very disappointed. Besides the house and vehicle that Jerry left for Lillian, Jerry entrusts a razor to Rafferty to give to Sam. Sam feels his father is so ridiculous for leaving the things that are not valuable for him.
After Rafferty went, Sam opened his father's shaving bag and was very surprised to see the rolls of money with a very large amount in the bag. Besides, there is a letter in Jerry's razor. The letter contained in order to give the money to Josh Davis complete with the address, people who are totally unknown to Sam. Knowing it, Sam then do not know what to do.
Josh Davis is apparently a boy of elementary school age who lives with his mom named Frankie. Josh has great curiosity and courage that gets him into trouble at school for blowing up a school pool with chemicals gleaned from the lab at school. Josh threatened to be expelled, but Frankie managed to win arguments with the school so that her son can still go to school with supervision.
Sam who came to Josh and Frankie at their residence, found Frankie and Josh arguing about the mischief that Josh did at school. Until then Frankie receives a phone that makes her very surprised and rushes away from where she lives. Before Frankie leaves, she stops by her neighbor's residence to leave Josh and borrow a newspaper. From the newspaper, Frankie tore up an article she was carrying away. Sam follows Frankie, which apparently aims at a support association in the church. In that gathering, after one member shared his story to be used as a lesson for the other members, Frankie proposed to share the story in front of the entire audience. Frankie tells of her loss of a man who means a lot to her. A man who had not been present in her life for a long time, the man she had always wanted to be at her side. But now the man is gone. Jerry, died with his wife and son.

Sam returns home to Lillian's house, and finds her relationship with her mother getting better as they start talking about the past with Jerry. Sam said good-bye to Lillian to return to the city because his office had threatened that if he could not complete his responsibilities, he would face jail sentences.
Sam knows he can not just go back and leave Frankie and Josh, but he had to. Then he came to Frankie who was desperate because her therapy was cutted by his psychologist because Frankie and Josh did not commit well. Sam intends to say goodbye to Frankie and say a few words of encouragement Frankie about her relationship with Josh.
Before actually leaving, Sam tries to spend the rest of his time to accompany Frankie. They talked about many things, to the very personal thing related to Frankie life to have Josh as her only son. Frankie also tells about the coming of Jerry occasionally to visit her and her mother, until finally Jerry disappeared altogether.

Sam tells about Frankie, his sister who has been looking for and waiting for attention from Jerry, while Sam who always finds Jerry to go home even go away from him. Hannah then strengthen Sam to tell the truth to Frankie.
Because not able to say honesty to Frankie, Sam apparently had left his father's will for Frankie to the attorney's office who handles Jerry's previous will.
The next day, while Sam was with Frankie, Frankie said that she was contacted by a lawyer's office that she got a will from Jerry, but Frankie told Sam that she would not want to accept it.
